Ann Durham - President, Global Vehicles U.S.A., Inc.

Ann Durham brings the right mix of business acumen, industry experience and people skills to lead Global Vehicles USA, Inc. in the introduction of Mahindra vehicles to the American public. She joined the company in January 2008 as vice president of finance and administration, and due to her solid business-management qualities, was promoted less than a year later to senior vice president and general manager. Her ascension to the presidency came in early 2009.

As chief financial officer of Lotus Cars USA, Inc., the North American distributor, Durham was responsible for an overhaul of the financial systems implementing the latest technology and streamlining processes. Additionally, she was involved in all aspects of the operation including launch of a new vehicle, sales, marketing, IT, parts, service and warranty.

Prior to her work at Lotus, Durham mastered her skills in financial systems and process improvement for two Fortune 500 companies Ciba Vision and Lucent Technologies. It was during this period that Durham developed and implemented several initiatives that reduced costs by creating efficiencies in financial processes.

Durham’s financial and systems expertise in the automotive industry will play a key role in the introduction of Mahindra’s fuel efficient and rugged vehicles to the American consumer.
